What causes fatigue, drowsiness, and laziness in children?

What causes fatigue, drowsiness, and laziness in children? Many students today find it difficult to concentrate on their studies. Some of them are exhausted, drowsy, and listless at home and school. Some children are more predisposed to illness than others. Such problems arise when a child’s body is deprived of energy. Even if a child eats well-balanced meals on a regular basis, they are still at risk for these health issues.

Our understanding is that we consume food to maintain the vitality and nutrition of our bodies. If food makes us physically stronger, then eating it should make us feel more energized and strong. However, this is not the case; many people feel drowsy and sleepy after eating. A similar situation affects numerous children. This type of health problem occurs as a result of a faulty digestive system.

The majority of childhood health problems begin when parents feed their children according to the time on the wall clock. The digestive system only prepares for digestion when a person is hungry. When children eat when they are not hungry, their bodies are unable to digest the food properly. The body was unable to produce enough energy as a result of incomplete digestion.

Parents should only feed their children when they show signs of hunger. If children eat before their digestive systems are prepared, their digestive systems may become tired or weak. Food will remain in the stomach for several hours if consumed without hunger. That food may deteriorate in the stomach in the same way that it does on the table.

Children should be taught to pay attention to their food and not do other things while eating, such as talking, listening to music, using a cell phone, and so on. When children eat when they are hungry and chew their food thoroughly before swallowing, it is broken down and provides them with enough energy. These children will be healthier and more active as a result.
